You didn't actually think that I would end on Bush's State of the Union speech, did you? As heart warming and comforting his speech was, I still could not understand why we were going to war with Iraq. Is it because of the threat they pose to the United States? Why would Iraq go to war against the best military on the planet? I understand that this "threat" is magnified because of what happened on 9/11. There is no doubting the evil and insanity that occured that day. And I want nothing more than for the terrorists to be stopped. But why Iraq? Is Iraq really tied to the terrorists? And if there is a serious threat being posed, why have the UN not given us the green light? Why is there a divide in NATO? Also, if the US is so careful and have the best interest of the US citizens, are they really doing everything they can to protect us? Because as Michael Moore pointed out, lighters and matches are still allowed to be carried on an airplane.

I want to thank you for listening to me and for visiting this site. I stated in the beginning that my reason for creating this site was to document what I've learned. But in truth, the main reason that inspired me to spend innumerable hours on this project was that I needed comfort in knowing that people do understand what's happening out there. A friend once told me that she felt comfort and peace when she heard someone else speak about the unfairness that goes on in the world. And hearing someone talk about the same things that she felt passionate about made her feel better. I could never agree more.

As much anger and insanity as there are in the world, there is also just as much beauty and heart. There are various organizations and caring people who spend all of their life trying to make this world a better place. They believe that it is possible to make a positive impact in someone's life. Every day, teachers, volunteers, social workers, mentors, and other faceless individuals make a contribution to the society that we sometimes feel is immoral and unfair. But just as they believe, we should be inspired by what they do and remember that in each one of us, there lives a possibility. We can complain all we want. We can scream and cry and waste our energy without doing anything about it. We could also turn our heads and continue to paint our lives with a tint of denial and believe that everything is fine. We can change the news channel and live in the sanctuary of our world because the issues indirectly affect us. But it shouldn't be like that. Each one of us can make an impact that could change the way people see things. Each one of us carries a possibility to make an indelible impression that can transcend ignorance and apathy. Each one of us carries a possibility to make a difference.

And that possibility lives in us every single day.
