I started writing my first novel when my sister decided to leave home and start a new job. I wanted to give her something to read at the airport and what started out to be a twenty page mini story - became a full blown 200 page novel. After the twenty pages were complete, I kept writing and writing until I realized I didn't really have a story. I didn't have a twist and the characters didn't really have any problems. I have to give credit to my old college roommate for providing the initial twist. It was after hearing people's reaction to the twist that forced me to add another twist on top of that. Sounds like a roller coaster ride right? But really, I just wanted to surprise people in the end, and I think that was accomplished in the first novel.

The second novel started out as a poem, and it was only until I was given the gift of infinite time that I decided to make a book out of it. I haven't actually started writing the story, but unlike the first novel, I'm actually planning this one out. I think it will be better and more structured, but unfortunately, I don't have the motivation to write it right now.
